Eating with the Seasons for Health and Humanity

Karin's first book relates to her other occupation as an organic and sustainable farmer. The book focuses on the reasons behind why eating with the seasons is good for both our health and for humanity as a whole. Information includes nutritional information, a buying guide comparing conventional, local and organic products, and how to "go organic" on a budget. The book provides regional planting guides, preservation methods and seasonal recipes, and discusses Community Supported Agriculture.

The Giving Movement

Karin is currently working on an exciting project with Cheryl "Action" Jackson of Minnie's Food Pantry in Plano, Texas. Cheryl's life has been full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, challenges and successes. With Karin's help, Cheryl is telling her inspiring story to the world. Cheryl has interviewed and been mentored by the likes of Emmitt Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Maia Angelou, Magic Johnson and many more.

Her inspiring story will take readers from Cheryl's beginnings in a poor neighborhood of Dallas, through her youth and early struggles as a young mother, and into her successful life as a marketer and founder of Minnie's Food Pantry. Her philanthropic work and life views will inspire those struggling in these tough economic times to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to understand that through hard work and determination anything is possible.

The Giving Movement does not have a publishing date as of yet. We'll post ordering information when it's available.
